Ezra was born a summer baby, but he’s quickly evolved into a happy, snow-loving winter boy. He never complains about the frigid cold, even as his nose and cheeks are turning bright red. We try to keep him bundled up and restrict his playing to the carpets, but he inevitably finds his way to the chilly, exposed floorboards, and seems not bothered by it at all. I guess he didn’t put on all those layers of fat for nothing.
The other day it was snowing that lovely, big-flaked snow, so we took him out for a quick photo session. He ate it up.

— Jan 6 / 20:19Oh that is so great! Meanwhile, little Tony is clearly showing his Mexican heritage when it comes to the cold. I took him to a New Year’s Day party and he squalled the minute the cold air hit his cheeks as we got out of the car. Maybe next winter he’ll be ready to play in the snow.
