We sing a lot of songs to Ezra, mostly made-up songs, like the one I sing to the tune of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” entitled “Kisses and Kisses and Hugs.” Now that he’s starting to do parent-tot classes and story time at the library, he’s being exposed to lots of children’s songs, especially the classics. But until this weekend, he’d probably only heard “Old McDonald” a few times in his life.
So it was with some surprise that we noticed him spontaneously breaking out into a chorus of E-I-E-I-O while we were visiting Grandpa Peter in Florida. We immediately jumped on our chance to evoke some audience participation.
